American/British actress Ella Bright first found acclaim as protagonist Darrell Rivers in CBBC's Malory Towers, which wrapped up its seventh and final series in 2025.

The 19 year old's name is now circulating online, after Prime Video released a teaser trailer for their new hockey romance show Off Campus, coming to the streamer on May 13. Following in the footsteps of Amazon's hit romance novel adaptations The Summer I Turned Pretty and Maxton Hall, it stars Bright as a shy songwriter swept off her feet by her college's star ice hockey player, played by fellow newcomer Belmont Cameli. Already renewed for a second series, this won't be the last we hear of the young actress.
